BOARD SEEKS COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT FOR SUPERINTENDENT PROCESS
The Grandfalls - Royalty Independent School District (ISD) Board of Trustees has employed Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Executive Search Services to assist with the search for a new superintendent. The Board has requested that school personnel and the public be involved in developing a profile of the leadership qualities desired of the person the Board should seek to become the new superintendent.

Friday we will have our parade! Line-up will start at 4:45 pm. The parade will start at 5:15 pm.

Grandfalls-Royalty ISD is currently accepting applications for a certified classroom teacher. Duties will include working with special education students in the area of dyslexia and/or inclusion. Applicants should be certified or currently working on certification.

GRISD was made aware of a very vague threat of a school shooting in the 432 area code since yesterday morning. In the past several days, there have been widespread threats occurring state wide. There has been no violence, but several people have been arrested, with all of them stating that this was just "a prank". In this day, school officials have to take every threat seriously. At this time, we have NO information that a threat is directed towards GRISD. We will however, continue to be vigilant at all times. We will be adjusting our daily procedures as necessary to ensure your child’s safety. We take your children’s safety very seriously. Should there be any change, we will alert you.
