...LIGHT ICE ACCUMULATIONS POSSIBLE ALONG AND SOUTH OF I-10 TONIGHT... .A strong cold front will bring freezing temperatures to much of the area overnight. This will combine with a storm system over Mexico leading to freezing rain and sleet across southern portions of the area. Any ice accumulations should remain light, however, slick spots will be possible mainly on bridges and overpasses. Temperatures will begin to rise above freezing late Tuesday morning. ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 6 AM CST TUESDAY... ...Freezing rain and sleet expected. Total ice accumulations of a light glaze. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. ...Mainly along and south of I-10. ...From 6 PM this evening to 6 AM CST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Very slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges are possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute.
